Warranty Policy

1. Introduction
In this policy, “Arcnics,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to Arcnics Smart Devices (OPC) Private Limited, the registered owner of the “Arcnics” trademark. This policy governs the warranty, return, and refund terms applicable to our Smart Home Products purchased through Amazon, arcnics.com, or any authorized sales channel.
2. Warranty Coverage
We provide warranty coverage against manufacturing defects under normal, intended usage, subject to the following durations:
- Warranty periods will be clearly mentioned on the respective product packaging and/or on the product listing on Amazon or our official website.
Warranty applies only to products purchased by the original buyer, matched against the invoice and model number.
3. Warranty Duration
The warranty period begins from the invoice date and continues for the duration specified per product model as indicated on the official product package or listing.
4. What Is Not Covered
Warranty does not cover:
- Damages caused by voltage fluctuations outside the rated 100-240V range.
- Improper installation, mishandling, accidents, or misuse.
- Water or liquid damage.
- Alterations, modifications, or unauthorized repairs.
- Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damages.
- Damage arising from natural disasters.
- Consumable parts, such as batteries (if applicable).
- Illegal use of the product.
- Claims without sufficient photo/video proof or missing invoice.
Physical damages, missing accessories, incorrect product deliveries, or claims of “used product” must be reported within 3 days of delivery, supported by unboxing videos/photos.
5. Return and Replacement Policy
- Reporting Timeline:
- Defects, damages, or return requests must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
- For Amazon customers, an additional 3-day grace period is provided after Amazon’s return window.
- Return Timeline:
- After reporting, the product must be handed over to the return pickup agent within 7 days.
- Return logistics may take up to 15 business days to reach Arcnics’ warehouse.
- Refund Conditions:
- 100% refund for unused and undamaged products if reported within the applicable window and passes quality inspection.
- Refund will be processed within 1-3 business days after successful verification (completed within 2 business days of receipt).
- Replacement Conditions:
- Replacement is subject to validation by Arcnics based on proofs provided.
- Only manufacturing defects are eligible.
- Arcnics reserves the sole discretion to approve or reject a replacement.
- Replacement product warranty continues only till the original product’s warranty end date.
- Shipping Costs:
- If defect reported after 6 months, customer bears the courier charge to ship product to Arcnics. Arcnics will ship the replacement free of cost.
6. Refund Policy
Refunds depend on the condition and timeline of the return:

Refunds may be partially deducted for missing accessories, altered packaging, or damaged returned products.
7. Out-of-Warranty Support
Warranty support is limited to repair or replacement of defective products only. No on-site service, maintenance visits, or periodic servicing is provided during or after the warranty period. Products beyond their warranty period are not eligible for any warranty support. However, Arcnics offers a 15% discount on the purchase of a new replacement unit for loyal customers reporting genuine concerns.
8. Claim Process
To claim warranty or request a return/refund, customers must:
- Provide the original purchase invoice.
- Submit clear photos and/or video evidence of the defect.
- Perform basic troubleshooting (e.g., connecting lights directly to a plain socket) to rule out external issues.
- Share suspected causes if identifiable (optional).
Failure to provide supporting documentation may result in rejection of the claim.
If the customer fails to hand over the product to the pickup agent within 7 days of pickup arrangement, the claim may be invalidated.
Suspected fraudulent claims, misrepresentation, or deliberate misuse will immediately void all warranty rights, and Arcnics reserves the right to deny all future warranty support.
9. Limitation of Liability
Arcnics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product, even if advised of such possibilities.
Arcnics does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of its Smart Home Products under all conditions, including but not limited to network outages, voltage surges, or third-party device incompatibility.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Warranty and Return Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Tamil Nadu.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing and using Arcnics products, customers agree to be bound by the terms and conditions stated in this policy.
12. Policy Updates
Arcnics reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue this policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective upon publication on the official website.
